In order to understand why this award has such a special meaning towards us, you have to first understand what Rizes Santorini is all about. Santorini is a land of extremes, from its dramatic volcanic rock landscapes, to the wild winds that beat against the vineyards. It is a unique place, one we wanted to bring to the table, both literally and figuratively speaking.
We wanted to create a menu that showcased the flavors of Greece, made using time-honored recipes, yet prepared using a touch of modern flair and a dedication to local products. We wanted to give our guests a unique experience, not just another meal out. Choosing us for a meal out means choosing an experience, a conversation with us and a discovery of the local flavors of Santorini.
